I’m a Black male therapist specializing in trauma-informed therapy, somatic therapy, and anxiety treatment for individuals who are used to being strong—but are quietly overwhelmed. I was raised in a single-parent home in a rural community alongside three siblings, where I witnessed my mother consistently stretch herself beyond capacity to care for others while carrying her own exhaustion. She showed up, held everything together, and anchored our family in faith, resilience, and community—even in seasons that demanded more than she had to give. Her strength shaped me. But her exhaustion shaped me too. That experience gave me a deep understanding of what it means to live in survival mode—to function, perform, and carry responsibility while feeling overwhelmed internally. It also shaped my ability to recognize the emotional and physical toll of chronic stress, unresolved trauma, and high-functioning anxiety. That lived experience is what led me into this work.
What Guides My Work
What guides my work
Through advanced training in trauma therapy, crisis intervention, and nervous system regulation, I specialize in helping clients who feel stuck in patterns of stress, anxiety, emotional overwhelm, and burnout.
My approach is trauma-informed and somatic, meaning we focus not only on your thoughts—but also on how your experiences are stored in your body and nervous system.
I help clients:
Understand and shift survival-based patterns
Reduce the impact of trauma stored in the body
Regulate their nervous system and emotional responses
Move from chronic stress and overwhelm to stability and control
This work is intentional, structured, and designed for lasting change—not just temporary coping.

This background allows me to effectively support individuals experiencing acute stress, trauma, and crisis, while maintaining a grounded, calm, and structured approach to care.
My clinical work integrates:
Trauma-focused interventions
Somatic stabilization and grounding techniques
Bilateral processing and memory reprocessing approaches
Nervous system regulation strategies
These methods are designed to reduce emotional intensity without re-traumatization, helping clients feel safer and more in control throughout the healing process.
In addition to clinical practice, I have contributed to research and published work focused on anxiety, stress, and crisis response, strengthening my understanding of both individual and systemic pathways to healing.
I also provide trauma-informed clinical supervision and mentorship for emerging therapists, supporting them in developing confidence, clinical skill, and the ability to remain regulated in high-acuity environments.
Ready to take the next step in your journey?
My work is grounded in clinical excellence, cultural awareness, and respect for lived experience. If you’re used to holding everything together but feel overwhelmed underneath, therapy can be a space where you no longer have to do that alone. This is a space to slow down, restore balance, and reconnect with yourself in a way that feels sustainable—not forced.
